Annamalai is an industry veteran in the Scrap and Metallic waste landscape with extensive experience of more than 33 years in the field. A gold medalist in Mechanical Engineering. Later on in 2006, he mover to Germany and Partnered with major scrap recycling companies like Alba Group, TSR Group and HJH Group, supplying them with high quality foundary scrap from automobile players like BMW and Volkswagen. The reach of his network spans across Europe, Central America, South America and Asia with strong regional partners committed to long term business relations.
Through his vast experience Anna truly understands the pain points of this induntry and envisioned to solve these while adding tremendous value to the supply chain, through his company AUM. His long standing relations and contacts in the sector give him the distinct advantage of having a network of suppliers across Europe and South America who produce unique quality high grade scrap, At AUM, these goods are then carefully identified , segregated and calibrated to fit the exact requirements of its customers. This value addition not only guarantees highest quality material but has also saved significant associated costs for our clients. AUM successfully concluded its first vessel of 23000 MT of scrap in July 2021 from South America to India is now well poised to expand its business further jo the near future.
In line with the trends of digitization, which are sweeping across almost every sector, Anna envisages AUM as a digital platform for special scrap trading. The aim of it is to connect buyers with suppliers and provide them real-time access to scrap availability, technical specifications and other relevant details. Buyers would be able to bid through the platform ensuring best prices and making it a seamless experience which is fully transparent.

Biju R Nair
Biju Rajendran Nair spearheads the efforts of AUM and heads the operations in the United Arab Emirates. He manages all aspects of operating the business like procurement, logistics, finance and inter departmental synergies. He worked for three decades in the Middle East and Africa across various departments and played a crucial role in scaling up business operations.
As a Country manager, Biju had established recycling industries of Ferrous and Non-ferrous metals in Ethiopia, Angola and Cameroon. He developed a strong procurement network for in-house production and for exports to other parts of the world during his stint in Africa.
Biju has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, development of new businesses, market plan execution and an oversight of activities like budgeting, client services, staff training and mentoring. He brings to the table a holistic perspective taking into account factors like sustainability, risk management and ethical issues.
Biju has a commendable educational background in Commerce and has worked with renowned Companies. Always willing to go beyond the mandate and push his limits, Biju's organizational abilities, communication skills and inspiring leadership are an asset to AUM.
SHIPPING HEAD
CAPT FAHIM SHAMSI
Capt. Fahim leads the Shipping Department, overseeing all marine and logistics operations with over two decades of maritime experience. His extensive expertise spans cargo handling, vessel chartering, port coordination, and operational management across international waters. He has successfully managed complex chartering operations, logistics planning, and global vessel deployment, demonstrating exceptional leadership and attention to detail. Under his guidance, more than forty vessels were efficiently chartered within a single year, ensuring seamless coordination between owners, charterers, and agents. A seasoned mariner, Capt. Fahim began his career with Dockendale Shipping, where he advanced from Cadet to Third Officer, gaining a strong foundation in navigation and seamanship. He later joined Campbell Shipping, progressing from Third Officer to Captain, commanding ocean-going vessels and honing his expertise in safety management, crew leadership, and international compliance. Known for his professionalism and strategic mindset, Capt. Fahim brings innovation and precision to every operation. His ability to optimize vessel performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster teamwork makes him a key pillar of the organization’s maritime success. Capt. Fahim’s leadership is defined by discipline, vision, and commitment to operational excellence — qualities that continue to strengthen the company’s global shipping capabilities.

CAPT DALJEET SINGH
Capt. Daljeet Singh is a seasoned marine professional with over two decades of experience in cargo operations, logistics, and fleet management. His expertise covers vessel operations, resource planning, business development, and crew leadership, making him an integral part of the company’s maritime operations. He has earned recognition for his professionalism, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills, and is known for his ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high operational and safety standards. His strong background in crew training, navigation, and cargo handling reflects his commitment to precision and excellence in every aspect of maritime management. Capt. Daljeet has served as Marine Superintendent with Fleet Management Pvt. Ltd. (Hong Kong), overseeing a diverse fleet that included Handy Size, Panamax, Cape Size, Newcastle Max, Container, and RO-RO vessels. Prior to that, he sailed as Master Mariner on bulk carriers, commanding vessels and ensuring smooth and compliant global operations. Currently working as a freelance VDR Auditor and Investigator, Capt. Daljeet Singh continues to leverage his extensive maritime expertise to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance across the shipping industry. His disciplined approach, leadership acumen, and dedication to operational excellence make him a key contributor to the continued success of the organization.
